Nicotinamide riboside (NR) is a direct precursor to the active coenzyme NAD+. NR is a form of vitamin B3 that is converted into nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) in the body. NAD+ is an essential coenzyme involved in numerous biochemical reactions in the body. NAD+ plays a particularly central role in mitochondrial energy production – the so-called respiratory chain. Since NAD+ cannot be directly absorbed as a molecule, NR provides a suitable form of vitamin B3 from which the body can directly produce NAD+ itself.

How does vitamin B3 support the body?

Vitamin B3, also known as niacin, contributes to normal energy metabolism and helps reduce tiredness and fatigue. It also plays a role in maintaining normal skin and mucous membranes and contributes to the normal function of the nervous system.

What are the benefits of the other B vitamins?

In addition to vitamin B3, NR-Modulator contains other important B vitamins in their bioactive form. Recommended Consumption
