Lifenol® is a patented extract based on a plant hop extract (Humulus Lupulus). It contains 8-prenylnaringenin, which is classified as a phytoestrogen.  A study conducted showed the optimal daily intake of at least 85 mg Lifenol® over a period of 6 weeks.

Other plant extracts from flaxseed, red clover, yams and sage complete the formula.

Lignan, a plant extract derived from flaxseed. Like isoflavonoids, lignans belong to the group of secondary plant compounds, specifically phytoestrogens, which exert similar effects in the human body as the body's own estrogens. The isoflavones contained in red clover also belong to the group of phytoestrogens.

Sage (Salvia Officinalis) is a plant that has been valued for centuries. In naturopathy, sage tea is used because the essential oils and polyphenols are an all-rounder in terms of application. 

Yam root, found predominantly in Africa, looks similar to a sweet potato and is full of vitamins and cell-protecting antioxidants. It contains a lot of potassium, zinc, manganese, copper and iron. An important ingredient is also the so-called diosgenin, a precursor of the human hormone progesterone. Diosgenin, just like the contained dioscin, belongs to the steroid saponins.

The contained B vitamins support healthy nerves and normal psyche, and round off the formula.

Recommended Consumption

Take 3 capsules daily. It is optimal to consume at least 30 minutes before or after a meal with 250 ml of still, lukewarm water, or alternatively with half a freshly squeezed lemon.
